Nerdy Weekly Baby size: Week 10

Week 10 for this series!

I love to whistle so one of my favorite things to do at Dragoncon is whistle the Mockingjay theme at cosplayers dressed in Hunger Games attire.

I don’t have much to say about Hunger Games, but wanted to share this nerdy baby book that I loved reading while pregnant. It appealed to nerdy side with all the data and statistics related to pregnancy.

It is called “Expecting Better“.

Mostly it made me understand some of the very laid back decisions I made about pregnancy.

I didn’t care for some of the rules that society, but not necessarily doctors, told me about what was or was not acceptable to do while pregnant.  I felt like there was too much undue stress to watch out for foods (like deli meat/sushi/cheeses) where lately recalls due to dangers for pregnant women (listeria, e coli) have come from food considered healthy (cantaloupe, lettuce). So instead I:

• I enjoyed sushi safely
• I ate some fantastic cheeses
• I drank a cup of coffee each morning
• I kept working out throughout my pregnancies
• I prioritized keeping my stress low

I have two beautiful girls who were lovely big babies! I hope this book helps someone else out like it helped me out!
