Which waits are not shorter with Single Rider
From our experience, certain single rider lines at Universal Orlando do not reduce wait times. These are generally 2-seat rides where the TMs have optimized loading procedures. We do not recommend using single rider for these rides.

Be willing to ride alone.
The single rider line is for guests who don’t mind being separated from their group. If you’re traveling with friends or family, you will be split up into different seats or rows. However, the single rider line can save you a significant amount of time, so it may be worth the sacrifice. You can also use this line if you only intend for 1 person in your party to ride, like when I let my oldest ride solo.
Don’t bring extra items with you.
While you’re waiting in the single rider line, it’s important to remember that you won’t be able to store your belongings with your group. Make sure to only bring essential items with you, like your phone or wallet. Otherwise, you’ll have to either leave them in a locker or go back through the regular line to store them.
Pay attention to the Team Members.
The Team Members will direct single riders to available seats, so make sure to follow their instructions. Don’t try to use this system to shorten your wait times while also attempting to sit with your party. Team members will split up your party or ask you to leave the line.
