Free Single Use Lockers are available at the entrance to the roller coaster. You are required to put all items (phones included) except your wallet into the locker before entering the queue for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster. Like some other rides at Universal, you will be going through metal detection, so make sure you have emptied everything out of your pockets.

This also means you won’t have your phone to look up the secret playlist, so memorize your secret 3 digit code before entering the line. Team Members also sometimes have lists of the codes, but better to be prepared!

Did you know that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has a secret playlist🤫? The secret list includes some hidden gems for true thrill-seekers while riding this roller coaster through Universal Studios.

To access it, hold down the Rip Ride Rockit logo for 10 seconds as soon as your safety bar is secured. A keypad will open up, quickly press your 3 digit code, hit enter, and lock in your song. It will not display the name of the song you selected, you will know you did it correctly when the music plays as you go up the first incline of the roller coaster.

My favorite Tracks on Rip Ride Rockit

I haven’t tried the new 5 tracks, but my favorites on the secret playlist are “Immigrant Song” (113) and “I Want You Back” (302). They perfectly complement the ride experience. I really do miss “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys, it seemed like they designed the roller coaster to go along with that song.
