Going to Universal Orlando as a nursing mother or pumping mother can be an exciting adventure.
With careful planning and knowledge of the available amenities and attractions, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit for the whole family. I’ve pumped breastmilk before while at Universal Orlando, so I have experience as a nursing mom. In this guide, I’ll provide valuable insights on how to make the most of your time at Universal Orlando while tending to the nursing needs of you and your little one.
Convenient Nursing or Pumping Locations
Nursing facilities can be found at convenient locations throughout Universal Orlando, including the First Aid Station at Family Services (to the right of the Lost And Found in Universal Studios Florida), the Health Services main station (located on Canal Street in the New York area of Universal Studios), and the First Aid Station at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
I took advantage of these while pumping for my daughter one trip, and it was a nice quiet relaxing place to go. They even had a fridge to store my soft-cooler full of breastmilk. Check here for the latest information.
Diaper-Changing Facilities
All park restrooms are equipped with diaper-changing stations, and select locations offer family restrooms for added privacy and convenience.

Navigating with Strollers
When visiting Universal Orlando with an infant, strollers can be a lifesaver for both convenience and comfort to store everything for your nursing needs.
You have the option to bring your own stroller or rent one upon entering the parks.
Stroller rental is available at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, offering a hassle-free solution for parents.
Throughout the parks, you’ll find designated stroller parking areas where you can safely leave your stroller while enjoying the attractions. These designated areas help maintain a neat and organized environment, allowing you to easily locate your stroller when you need it.
Please do not just leave your stroller anywhere or they may be moved by a Team Member to the designated locations.
Whether you bring your own or rent one, having a stroller ensures your little one can rest, nap, or comfortably explore the parks while carrying all the items needed for nursing or pumping, making your visit to Universal Orlando with an infant much more enjoyable.
Child Swap Program
If there are rides that your infant is unable to go on or if they are too small or unwilling to participate, Universal Orlando’s child swap rooms is a valuable resource.
These rooms allows one member of your party to wait with the little ones in a designated family room while the rest of the group enjoys the ride. Once the first group completes the ride, they can then switch places, allowing the adults who sat out initially to experience the attraction while the others take care of the kids.
This way, everyone can have the opportunity to enjoy the rides they desire, ensuring a memorable and inclusive experience for the whole family. We have used it while our children were smaller, and loved it!
Storage Options and Locker Rentals
Traveling with an infant often requires carrying extra supplies and belongings. Universal Orlando offers convenient storage options, including locker rentals throughout the parks. If you are bringing a soft cooler to store breastmilk or formula, these are a great option.
When visiting Universal Orlando with an infant, it’s important to know that lockers are readily available throughout the parks to make your experience more convenient. Single-time use free lockers are available at nearly all attractions.
At the entrance to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, you can pay to rent lockers of larger sizes, including family-size lockers at Universal Studios. These lockers grant guests unlimited access throughout the day. Lockers are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and can easily accommodate large groups with multiple locker rentals.
For certain attractions, there are additional single-time use large lockers located at the entrance (for a fee), allowing you to securely store your belongings while you enjoy the ride.
If you plan to explore the water-based attractions, such as Jurassic Park River Adventure, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, and Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls, single-time use lockers are available for an extra fee.
