Join the Halloween fun with Lil Boo’s Trick or Seek at Universal Orlando 2023! Solve puzzles, find symbols, and win a spooktacular suncatcher.
This Halloween, Universal Orlando Resort has brewed up a spellbinding alternative to the Scarecrow Stalk. Say hello to “Lil Boo’s Trick or Seek,” a captivating adventure that lets you embark on a quest to decipher symbols, crack codes, and uncover secrets hidden throughout the parks. This is a great way to enjoy the Halloween season without the Horrors of HHN! We loved trying it out, it was more challenging than Scarecrow Stalk, which we loved!
The Journey Begins
To begin your enigmatic journey, head to either Universal Studio Store in CityWalk or Universal Studios, where they’ll provide you with all the details.
For a mere $13.00, you’ll receive a Hide/Boo Seek Map Bundle, which includes a map, a pencil. You can also select to receive your reward, a delightful Lil’ Boo Suncatcher, as you start your journey, not just as a prize. The map itself carries the aroma of pumpkins, immersing you further into the spirit of the season.
Find Lil Boo’s
As you make your way through the Universal parks, you’ll encounter various displays, each holding cryptic symbols waiting to be decoded into letters. Each Lil Boo is dressed differently and some are super well hidden, so keep an eye out!
Decipher, Seek, and Win
Solve the riddles to piece together the puzzle. The more Lil Boo’s you find, the closer you get to revealing the hidden message. Once you’ve cracked the final code, collect your reward (if you haven’t picked up your suncatcher already). Not able to complete the puzzle? No worries, you’ll still receive the delightful suncatcher regardless.
Will you try Lil Boo’s Trick and Seek?
This Halloween, Universal Orlando’s Lil Boo’s Trick or Seek promises a captivating experience for park-goers of all ages. Dive into the mysterious, festive atmosphere, test your wits, and walk away with a unique souvenir to remember your adventure by. So, get ready for some thrilling, mind-bending fun. The hunt begins, and the Lil Boo’s are waiting for you to uncover their secrets in the fog!

Useful Tips for Halloween Horror Nights 2023
- Arrive Early: Beat the crowds and avoid traffic by arriving at least an hour before the event starts. September is less busy than October, so consider visiting then for a smoother experience.
- Stay the Day: If you have event admission and are a Passholder, you can stay in the park during the switch to Halloween Horror Nights. Not a passholder? You can purchase a Scream Early Ticket. Wait in the Stay & Scream area and get a head start on the scares when the event begins.
- Stay Close to the Horror: Book accommodations at a Universal Orlando Hotel to stay near the action. Hotel guests enjoy special access to a dedicated entry gate until 8 pm on event nights and exclusive access to HHN hotel events.
- Start in the Back: Head to the back of the park first to explore haunted houses with shorter lines before they get busy. Save the scare zones for later.
- Enhance the Horror: Add even more thrills to your experience with event add-ons. Consider the Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass to skip regular lines at haunted houses and attractions. Join the Behind-The-Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour for a lights-on look at haunted houses. Alternatively, opt for the R.I.P. Tour to get a guided V.I.P. walking tour with Priority V.I.P. entry to haunted houses.
- Follow the Guidelines: No costumes or costume masks are allowed, so leave those at home. Be respectful to performers, and refrain from using flash photography, video recording, or bringing food and drinks into haunted houses. Line jumping, foul language, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- Check Warning Signs: Pay attention to the warning signs at the entrance of each attraction to ensure you visit only those suitable for your abilities.
- Sealed Water Bottle: You can bring one sealed bottle of water through security and into the event.
- Prohibited Items: Certain items, such as wallet chains, flashlights, laser pointers, fish hooks, and clothing with sharp metal spikes, are not allowed inside the event.
