This weekend was wonderful and crazy! I got to be the Matron of Honor in my bff’s wedding and got to see lots of friends! She looked beautiful and of course was calm and collected. So happy for her and her new husband!
Another major event this weekend was official beginning of our kitchen demolition remodel! We found out that we needed to get the refrigerator from my parents second house by this weekend, so needed to clear space for it. So here is a picture of our kitchen early Friday Morning…
And here is what I found when I returned from getting my nails done, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and get together on Friday night….
Do notice the exposed wiring where they chose to hard wire the microwave hood to the house…
Isaac was lucky enough to get his brother Joel in to help rip out the cabinets. But the emptying of the cabinets was not quite to my taste (my fault, I was supposed to get that done…) and everything ended up in the dining room…
So yesterday afternoon, I moved everything out of the dining room into my office (with a path to my computer.) Its easy to close that door and forget about it 🙂
And this is how the kitchen looked this morning. The fridge is in its proper place and so are the dishwasher and stove. Though right now there is no power to the stove because the 220 outlet is on the other side of the kitchen…
Our new fridge is huge! I love it!
Next steps:
-Move the 220 outlet
-Install some cabinets
-Knock down a wall!
