Attention, park enthusiasts and map collectors! Starting January 1st 2024, Universal Orlando Resort will discontinue the distribution of physical park maps. This shift toward modern navigation aims to provide an enhanced experience through the Universal Orlando app and less paper waste.
How to navigate Universal Orlando
The Universal Orlando Resort App is your all-in-one guide to navigating the parks. Whether you’re planning your visit or already there, this official app offers a myriad of features. From purchasing tickets and Universal Express passes to real-time updates on wait times, the app is your digital companion for an optimal experience.
With the app, guests can access comprehensive, interactive maps of the theme parks, Universal CityWalk, and various Universal hotels. It allows you to check ride wait times, show schedules, dining venue hours, and locate restrooms, all at your fingertips. Additionally, the app provides filters for easy sorting and a parking reminder feature, ensuring a seamless visit.
No Physical Maps as Souvenirs for Universal Orlando
Most guests are disappointed about the discontinuation more for the sentimental value of collecting them after each trip. I found the physical maps to be a nuisance to carry around the park all day, but I did enjoy the memories from having them after our trip.
Are you sad for the discontinuation of physical maps at Universal Orlando?
As Universal Orlando shifts to a digital platform, guests can embrace the convenience and efficiency of the Universal Orlando app for a smoother park experience.
