Universal Orlando is renowned for its thrilling attractions and energetic ambiance, but sometimes visitors require a serene spot to handle conference calls or concentrate on work. In this blog post, we’ll unveil some lesser-known locations within Universal Orlando that offer peace and tranquility, allowing you to effectively manage your professional or academic responsibilities without distractions.
Lakeside Retreats
Universal Orlando features a picturesque lake that winds through the park, offering serene spots perfect for work or conference calls. Another option is the secluded seating area behind Mythos restaurant, where you can find a serene atmosphere to concentrate without distractions. Consider visiting the area behind Me Ship the Olive or the tranquil pier behind Lombards. These locations provide breathtaking views of the water and are often overlooked by the crowds, providing a peaceful environment to focus on your tasks.
Outdoor Oasis
Escape the hustle and bustle by exploring the tranquil outdoor spaces tucked away within Universal Orlando. One is to the left of the Old Sinbad Show in The Lost Continent, where I have before used for a conference call.
Tranquil Gardens
Take a break from the excitement of the park and discover the tranquil gardens scattered throughout Universal Orlando. The Garden of Allah near the NBC Universal Media Center is another serene spot that provides a peaceful setting for productive work. With the discontinuation of Poseidon’s Fury, the area next to the exit has a great quiet spot.
Hidden Retreats near Diagon Alley:
While Diagon Alley may seem bustling with activity, there are still hidden corners where you can find solace. Consider finding a cozy spot near the exit of Knockturn Alley or on the walkway behind the Knight Bus. These hidden retreats offer a sense of seclusion, making them ideal for conference calls or focused work.
Old U-rest Zones
U-Rest zones were locations that were created in very spacious and uncrowded outdoor spaces when masking was still mandatory outdoors while visiting Universal Orlando. These spaces are still great options: at the lake entrance at Islands of Adventure, in front of Fear Factor stage in Universal Studios, on the patio behind Duff’s at Universal Studios.
Secluded Bathrooms Areas
While unconventional, some bathroom areas as have additional seating to rest and can surprisingly serve as a refuge for conference calls or work sessions. Seek out secluded bathrooms in various areas of the park, such as Seuss Landing or Jurassic Park. These spaces typically offer a serene environment conducive to focused tasks.
