Fall weather is jeans and boots for me. Jeans and boots! Jeans and boots! And scarves! And sweaters!
Oh, I love it all. Really,
I do. The cold I can do without. But breaking out my favorite boots
makes up for it.

This is actually an outfit without much “pinspiration,” as
I’m often found in jeans, boots, a sweater and scarf in the cooler
weather. But since burgundy is a
pretty popular color this year, I took my inspiration from the color and warmth
of this photo.

Burgundy sweater (Express. Probably eligible for “vintage” status, as it’s from when
Express was Express Worldbrand.) and dark denim (Old Navy) with my favorite
cognac boots and a black-and-white paisley pashmina-style scarf (Target). A pair of turquoise earrings (Banana
Republic), my go-to watch, and my 2nd favorite gift to myself, a
soft grey Kate Spade purse, were my accessories of the night. The coolness of the night made me
realize that I really need to invest in a nice leather or faux-leather jacket
for Fall and to complete this look.

What you can’t tell about this photo is that moments later my
three friends and I were cantering through the streets of Asheville to the clip-clop
of a found halved coconut. I kid you not.

How in the world do you find a halved Coconut in Asheville? Glad you guys had fun!
