Sunday, I met up with one of my closest friends and the guy she’s seeing for a quick brunch before they went to finish touring Atlanta and had to head back for Army training. Since those were my only plans for the day, I wasn’t about to get too fancy with my outfit and I wanted to try a new color combination rather than a new clothing combination!
I saw this bag a few days ago and it instantly made me think of my orangey-coral cardigan that I bought over the summer. I really like the color and have been trying to match it with different shades to get more use out of it.
So, like this purse, I paired my coral cardigan (Target) with a charcoal long-sleeve vneck (Old Navy) and medium-wash skinny jeans (Old Navy). Because it is decidedly boot season, I pulled out those brown boots (Nicole) again and got another wear out of them. A pair of aviators (Banana Republic) and I was good to go! I was warm enough in the chill to sit outside while waiting for brunch, and even made it through an afternoon at the dog park — even if I did end up covered in dog fur and a smattering of grass and mud.
