Bringing a power bank is a savvy move for any theme park visit, and something we always have in our park bag. Universal Orlando allows you to bring your own portable charger, ensuring you have a backup power source for the day. Charge up your power bank before you enter the parks, and you’ll have peace of mind throughout the day.
We have several fast-charging power banks that are about the size of phones. We love this Samsung Wireless Charger because it is compatible with all our electronics (phones, watch, headphones) and will power up 2 phones on one charge. The other we love is the Anker Portable Charger because stores so much power can charge each of our phones twice, which is great in case we forget to charge the bank overnight! Both are great for our Android phones.
If you are looking into purchasing a power bank, keep in mind that anything 20000mAh and lower can be brought in a carry-on for airlines. Make sure to prioritize fast-charging and remember more mAh means holds a more power. If you have an Iphone, consider one’s that has lightning ports.
Outlets in the UOAP Lounge
If you’re an Annual Passholder, the exclusive UOAP Lounge is a haven for relaxation and charging your devices. Be sure to bring your power cord. Located in Toon Lagoon in Islands of Adventure, the lounge offers comfortable seating, UOAP exclusive merchandise, and, most importantly, plenty of available outlets to recharge your phone.
Fuel Rod Stations
Universal Orlando offers a convenient solution for recharging on the go – Fuel Rod stations. These handy kiosks provide portable charger service. Simply purchase a Fuel Rod at one of the stations, and you’ll receive a fully charged battery. When your power runs low, return to any kiosk, exchange the depleted battery for a fresh one, and continue your adventure without missing a beat. The beauty of the Fuel Rod service is that you can take the chargers home with you! They’re not rentals, so you can exchange them for fresh ones anywhere there’s a Fuel Rod kiosk.
