Despite the magical ambiance, Universal Orlando doesn’t host an official house sorting ceremony at the park. While there’s a captivating wand ceremony at Ollivanders, figuring out your Hogwarts house isn’t part of the in-park experience.
In the past, Universal Orlando held the Celebration of Harry Potter at the end of January each year, offering an opportunity for visitors to experience the sorting hat ceremony. Unfortunately, this event has been discontinued, and the sorting hat is no longer part of the regular park festivities.

Instead, it provides safety warnings for the ride. If you would like a picture of it without riding, ask one of the attendants at the entrance about doing a “Castle Tour”.
