The vision behind the Jurassic Park Tribute Store was brought to life by the amazing Visual Merchandise Project Team. You can tell that this team included massive fans of Jurassic park because they created an immersive shopping experience that pays homage to the movie and its enduring impact. The store’s attention to detail and commitment to authenticity are evident in every corner, and I (a crazed Jurassic Park fan) and everyone in our Jurassic Motorpool group loved every detail.
A Glimpse Behind the Scenes:
As you enter the Jurassic Park Tribute Store, you’ll be captivated by the pre-production room. Marvel at the giant dinosaur skeleton at the center of the room, and explore the nooks and corners filled with fantastic movie merchandise. Keep an eye out for hidden Easter eggs that add an extra layer of excitement to your visit. Some of our Jurassic Park Motorpool group even had photos of their replica Jeeps on display!
Recreating Movie Sets:
Continuing the journey, step into a faithful recreation of parts of the Universal Studios Hollywood Soundstage 28, where Jurassic Park was filmed. Prepare to be amazed as you encounter meticulously replicated set pieces, down to the smallest details. From kitchen utensils to window sizes, the attention to authenticity is astounding. The Polaroid displays throughout the store give you a glimpse into the making of the sets, capturing the dedication and precision of the team. I was swooning with all the props that they brought in, and dreaming of owning some Jurassic Park china of my own 🙂

The second room is particularly awe-inspiring, featuring a rain display that creates a dynamic and thrilling ambiance. You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a rainy environment teeming with dinosaurs, ready to surprise you at every turn.
Unforgettable Photo Opportunities:
The Jurassic Park Tribute Store offers a range of exciting photo opportunities for visitors to capture memorable moments. Here are some of the photo opportunities you can expect:
- Toilet T-Rex Attack: Sit on a toilet while being “attacked” by a T-Rex, recreating a thrilling scene from the movie. It’s a quirky and fun photo op that fans love.
- Kitchen Set: Explore a meticulously recreated kitchen set from the movie. Pose with the props and imagine yourself in the midst of the action.
- Raptors in the Maintenance Shed: Step into a maintenance shed filled with realistic replicas of Raptors. Take a brave photo with these fearsome creatures as your backdrop as you attempt to get the park “back in business!”
- The Dilophosaurus in the rainy road that even includes the spinning East Dock sign

The final room of the Jurassic Park Tribute Store is dedicated to the legacy of the movie. Discover vintage toys, comics, and an array of memorabilia that celebrate the enduring impact of Jurassic Park on popular culture. No Tribute store is complete without tasty treats inspired by by the theme. I didn’t try any this time (we had just eaten breakfast), but they looked fantastic!
Merchandise throughout
Fans can indulge their passion by adding to their collections with an extensive range of merchandise available for purchase. Don’t miss the special anniversary merchandise, commemorating 30 years of Jurassic Park, to keep the celebration alive long after your visit. I took advantage of the package pickup service and sent several bags to the front of the park with all the merchandise we purchase. Apparently Universal Orlando was not prepared for how excited the fans were going to be for the merchandise and are running low on some items, but are already making plans to restock later in the summer. We will be back early August, I can’t wait!!!
